Pagerduty + FitbitOS?

I recently gave up on my Pebble Time for a Fitbit Versa.

One of the killer features of having the Pebble Time was I could ACK alerts on my watch. I don’t have that ability anymore on the Fitbit Versa. I’m not sure how it even worked on Pebble because I don’t believe I installed a Pagerduty application on the watch.

Is anyone currently working on integrating Pagerduty with FitbitOS?

I found https://www.pagerduty.com/blog/june-hack-day-pebbleduty/ and https://github.com/PagerDuty/PebbleDuty but those are installable applications. Maybe a good starting point.

I’ll probably use this as an instance to learn how to use the FitbitOS SDK.

It’s (somewhat) good to know someone else is experiencing this problem! I recently purchased the Fitbit Versa to replace my old Asus Zenwatch 2 (Android watch.) With my previous device, a push notification would show the option to ACK the alert, similar to how my 2FA app worked (as well as other apps.) The problem is that I don’t even get the push notification to my Versa. All of my other pushes from all of my other apps are received by the Versa except for PagerDuty! It’s confounding. I don’t know if this is a problem on PD’s end or Fitbit’s. I also took a shake at the FitbitOS SDK. I just wish I had more bandwidth to work on it.

Indeed! Time is in short supply, I don’t have time to do the things I already have on my plate.

It sure would be nice to have it work well like it did on Pebble and I guess your old watch, too.
